Magda Rakita
Today we meet photographer Magda Rakita, who’s stunning work taken all over the world, really impressed us.
Here Magda shares some of her memorable photographs with us, and background as to how she began her life as a photographer.
“My adventure with photography began three and half years ago when I had the idea of documenting my travels – buying another photo album in the local book store simply wasn’t good enough anymore.
“Shortly after purchasing my first ”proper” camera I discovered that I enjoy the whole photographing process a lot, and since that moment photography became major part of my life.
“My attitude towards it has changed over last three years – I still enjoy travel photography, but I also now work with NGO’s and charities both in and outside UK . This area of work gives me a particular sense of satisfaction and I would like to focus on humanitarian work in the future.
“I find people fascinating and they are my favourite subject – the differences and similarities with someone living thousands miles away. In my portraits I strive to capture some of the emotions which we all share, appreciate and understand.”
