Mute by Martin Usborne

An exhibition to make you go "Woof!"

Some exciting news to tell you about today – another world class exhibition is coming to theprintspace. From next Thursday, award winning photographer Martin Usborne will unveil a solo exhibition of haunting dog portraits.

The collection, called Mute, consists of eight large-scale prints of dogs looking out of car windows in the dead of night.

The exhibition is not your usual pet portraiture but takes a serious look at feelings of loneliness and isolation both in relation to animals but also humans. 10% of proceeds from print orders go to the Dogs Trust. All images were produced at theprintspace’s own high-quality studios.

Mute opens at theprintspace gallery at 74 Kingsland Road, Shoreditch on Thursday, 21st October 2010 7pm-10pm with refreshments provided. The exhibition then continues until 9th November, Monday-Friday 9am-7pm. Admission free.
