Carrying on with our recent love of illustration, we bring to you the work of Rupert Meats.
“I love image making, from a simple photocopy to a detailed screen print. Illustration is about image making and getting an idea across.
“I have some clients that I have worked with for a long time and I have an agent who gets me work in advertising. Each project that I do allows me to create more work for my portfolio.
“Sometimes its envelopes product, so a print for a T-shirt and some times it’s a piece for advertising. Most of it is hand drawn and I use a lot of type but more recently I have developed a cleaner style.
In the future “I have a homeware line being launched at the Tate and I have an exhibition of new work being showcased at a gallery in Budapest in October 2011″
