Simon Greetham would love to share some of his work with you!

“I’m based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, specialising in Nightscape photography, I love taking photos of urban environments. I try and make my work stand out from the crowd with use of colour and interesting angles.

‘Tyne (top image)‘ – “This was mainly just an exercise in trying to find new angles to take pictures of the Tyne, this was taken at about 1am, you have no idea how many drunk people asked me to take there photo that evening!!! Taken in 2009 with Canon 450D.

Manchester Nightscape – Simon Greetham

‘Manchester Nightscape‘ – “This was taken when on a trip Manchester, I came back to my hotel room and saw this view from the balcony, and I just had to have a shot. Taken in 2010 with Canon 450D

Stairway to Heaven – Simon Greetham

‘Stairway to Heaven‘ – “This shot seemed to have happened by pure luck as I was driving past the area looking to park my car, looked to my left and this shot seemed to be framed in my car window, seems to be how the best shots happen. Taken in 2009 with Canon 450D

“Most of the photography I have done to date is of urban areas in the UK and my next project is going to be completely different. This summer I am going to be traveling around rural areas of France, i want to keep it simple and minimalist a definite change to the busy cities I usually shoot. I have nothing in the pipeline exhibition wise at the moment but I usually do an exhibiton with the Newcastle Artists Society a few times a year.”
