The Endless Supply of Photo Ideas
Hello everyone! Today we’d like you to hear the story of Simon Shaw.
“On one level I take photos of corporate events and within a studio – appropriate photography for a corporate market, and on another level, I take photography without commercial objective. I am constantly looking and seeing objects and scenes as photographic opportunities. I am very motivated with taking images and looking at other photographers work.

“Projects in the pipeline: Photographing my local area – Faversham, Kent has a heritage of ship building and boats; the quay and boat yard has endless photographic opportunities, the weather weary surfaces are incredibly photogenic. I am gathering a set of images that will be exhibited in the local gallery (Creek Creative). Currently one of the images supplied (Abode poem) is in an exhibition – an open exhibition of mixed media.

“Images supplied are taken with my Canon 40 D and a Canon 5D mark II. As mentioned above I have found an endless supply of photographic opportunity with the boats that are out of water under repair or better still, left to elements.
