{"id":5015,"date":"2023-07-24T14:50:52","date_gmt":"2023-07-24T13:50:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theprintspace.co.uk\/help\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=5015"},"modified":"2026-07-09T22:25:03","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T21:25:03","slug":"understanding-your-print-product-costs","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/www.theprintspace.co.uk\/help\/knowledge-base\/understanding-your-print-product-costs\/","title":{"rendered":"What charges are included in the &#8216;Your cost&#8217; field?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>\u2018Your cost\u2019<\/strong> field shown in the cart when you place a manual order is the combined wholesale fulfilment cost you pay to theprintspace, not the retail price your own customers see.<\/p>\n<h4>What the \u2018Your cost\u2019 field covers<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Production<\/strong> \u2014 the print itself, plus any framing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Delivery<\/strong> \u2014 shipping to the destination country.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Add-ons<\/strong> \u2014 certificate of authenticity, custom letter inserts and branded packaging, where your product has them.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sales tax (VAT)<\/strong> \u2014 theprintspace charges VAT on the fulfilment cost based on the delivery destination: UK 20%, Germany\/EU 19%, EU reverse-charge where you provide a valid EU VAT number, and Rest of World 0%. A VAT invoice is issued for every order.
